Hey folks, Jaack & Stevie here, updating you with another blog post from the passenger seat of Stevie's Fiat 500 whilst he drives us back from London after a fucking incredible Happy Hour recording day.
We have JUST been discussing this platform, and how we want to post SO much more content going forward, and have a question we need your help with... so please give us your honest thoughts below, we will actually take all feedback on board because you guys are always nice and reasonable!
I know it's very much a running gag online that I don't work very hard, but if I'm being totally honest, the past 2 years have been manic. (Happy Hour writing, booking, filming etc, Jaack&Stevie recording & editing, 888poker shoots, Double Tops podcast, other brand shoots!) - ALL such fun, and I wouldn't change it for the world, but it means I'm spreading myself a little thin at the moment, and despite our recent Gold Envelopes episode being filmed 2 weeks ago, I have barely had any time at home to edit it, which is stressing me out!
Because of this I'm thinking it would be super beneficial for Stevie and I to hire an editor for this website to save our energy and our time, meaning we can focus on recording WAY more GOOD content. Gold Envelopes, vlogs and bonus videos.
Initially we thought this was a no-brainer, considering all you guys would notice would be the quantity of videos going up, with the same quality - but then I realised one thing. The voice-overs on Gold Envelopes. This is a fairly technical issue that only video editors will understand but when I edit the GE episodes I edit the video completely around the voice-over and the narrative built in the video itself. So going forward with an external editor might mean I drop the voice-over in the videos, but everything else stays the same.
So my question is; would you prefer to keep the voice-over, but also keep the same video posting schedule. Or, drop the voice-over, but post lots more videos? It's completely up to you, and I'm happy to hear your thoughts!
Also, Fourthwall (the platform hosting this website) has added Beta Livestreaming recently so we're going to start monthly live-streams here too. What would you guys like to see us do during these streams? Just chatting? Gaming? Q&A's?

Jaack here, with my first blog post as Stevie did the last one from the mysterious country that definitely 100% was not Latvia. (You're bastards for spotting that...)
WE JUST MADE SAUSAGES! Fiona's Christmas gift of a sausage making class wasn't actually as bad as it sounded... in fact, it was a load of porky fun! We decided to vlog the entire thing for you lot which will be up within the next week or so... but... TRIGGER WARNING: it contains bits chopped meat (obviously) a few animal carcasses, and Stevie's trim. Stuff straight out of a horror film!
Shout out to Geoff & James from Goat Shed in Norfolk who were amazing with us and taught Stevie and I how to make the girthiest sausages two blokes could ever ask for... let's just say there was no infamous Dean Sausage to worry about tonight.
A little question for you guys - do you enjoy the simple less productiony bonus videos? We worry that because you're paying for content here, every video needs to be a big budget, high produced piece? But sometimes, is it just nice to have stripped back vlogs? We're still going to continue with our hero series Gold Envelopes but would you like EXTRA vlog videos? We are planning to up our posting schedule! Let us know.

Hi all,
We're currently somewhere in Europe filming our next big video! We thought we'd give a little update on here to let you know what's happening behind the scenes.
We've been talking about whether you lot would like us giving updates on here throughout the month. Kind of like we'd be using it as a blog alongside the video content. Would that be something you would like us to add?
We fly back to England on Thursday and we're driving straight to Jack's Christmas present from Fiona to make sausages together! We will also be recording that as the bonus video going up this month.
