This week, Jaack and Stevie are joined by the band that defined their teenage years - The Kooks! Luke Pritchard and Hugh Harris talk us through their early days at BRIT school, getting signed by Virgin Records at just 16 years old (too young to legally sign a contract!), and dealing with the fame that came practically overnight.

With no plans to even be a singer, Luke tells us which songs were unexpected viral hits, why he was kicked out of his own gig, and what happens when Rolling Stone gives your debut album a scathing review…

Hugh shares the absolutely ridiculous band name suggestion that was turned down, why he wasn’t a fan of their huge hit ‘Naive’, and the unconventional place he chose to write the new album.

The boys reveal their pre-show rituals, mad rider demands, and the most rock-and-roll thing they’ve ever done. There’s also a UFO sighting and a ghostly encounter thrown in. Ooh la!
